Ashtanga Yoga Studio

Astanga Yoga Studio is dedicated to teach Astanga Vinyasa Yoga in the tradition of Sri K Pattabhi Jois.

 

Established in 2009 we offer authentic Astanga classes that are open to all. Classes are compassionate, caring and inspiring for the individual student, from beginner to advanced practitioner.

 

We offer over 50 hours of scheduled classes a week. Intro classes to get started, Basic (guided) classes to nurture the foundation and Mysore classes to move deeper into individual practice. We arrange regular workshops with top international teachers. Pranayama, meditation and  supplemental classes to deepen your yoga experience.

 

Outside the regular class hours we have a concept that has not been seen in the yoga world before. This is Open Space giving all students access to the studio from early morning until late evening to do self practice. Whether you practice within or outside the class hours, our cosy kitchen and chill out zone with sofas welcome you to sit, hang out and share a moment with other yogis.

 

Our aim is to support your well-being, bringing yoga off the mat and into every moment of life. We offer you the space, practices and atmosphere that help you improve your physical and mental wellbeing. Our international teachers gently encourage you to move through the poses, discovering your boundaries, moving you from the bustle of daily life in a western city to that quiet calm centre within yourself.
